I have just recently started the Zox Pro Mental Photography course and what a bonza of a course it is! I’m slowyly working my way through all the exercises but my biggest problem is that I’m not nearly as disciplined as I should be. I understand the benefits of completing the course (and consistently applying it’s teachings) but even so, I’ve been very lax about getting through the course.

I’m currently working on the exercises that expand your peripheral vision in order that you can mentally photograph whole pages of text rather than reading every individual line, word and even letter.

Click on this link to learn how to focus your attention with the same tenacity that enabled Einstein to concentrate effectively and therefore achieve so much in his lifetime. Also, you’ll get for free, the first chapter of the course that I’m doing. It’s an excellent insight into what the course is all about and will help you decide for sure if you really want to excel to that level.

Now you too can hang on to your wits for a little bit longer just by playing simple, but scientifically based brain training games on the internet. This is a great way to improve concentration, strengthen your cognitive skills and enhance memory, while having a fundamentally good time as well. Today’s advanced brain training games help improve your memory, increase your ability to stay focused, plus make faster and better decisions.

The benefits of playing brain training games are:

Enhance memory

Stay focused longer

Increased alertness & awareness

Make quicker & wiser decisions

Boost your productivity

Fun, fast & convenient

Function better overall

Feel better about yourself

You don’t have to train your brain everyday, but of course it helps if you do! Just like physical exercise, training your brain everyday not only ensures that you stay in optimum mental shape, but by maintaining a regular routine you’re also enabling yourself to improve your cognitive skills significantly faster.

Actively engaging in brain training enhances and maintains people’s mental fitness through cognitive training platforms that help to strengthen key cognitive functions including Memory, Attention, Executive Functions, Thinking and Reasoning, and Visual Perception etc.

Studies have determined that – regardless of age – it is indeed possible to expand one’s mental and physical capacities through regular “brain training workouts.” With enhanced mental fitness comes greater self-esteem, more rewarding careers, social relationships, and overall higher quality of life.

Zox Pro training is what I’ve used to catapult my memory retention and accurate recall to way beyond what I thought possible. See their link on the top right of this page, or you can click on this link.

There are some great resources on the internet for brain exercises and how this helps in improving your memory. Below is an article I found that has some great tips in there. And don’t forget to check out all the other resources on this site.

Brain Exercises – The Benefits of Brain Exercises
By Bertil Hjert

If you want to keep your brain in good working condition and sharpens it from time to time, it is very important to indulge in to some brain exercises. These exercises are always recommended by the experts to keep the brain functional.

These days, you would see almost every newspaper and magazine filled with brain twisters, word games, brain teasers and thinking games. These activities are very important to activate the mind of an individual and help enhancing your memory. In short, all these activities are important to make an individual, a more interesting person.

Human brain requires regular exercises just as any other part of your body. You may find it very difficult to start something new at first. However, there is nothing to worry because when you continue to try your brain tends to become fitter. Once your brain reaches a fitter state, you will find it very easy to undertake a task. This is the most important part of enhancing your memory.

One of the most effective exercises for brain is laughter. Laughter is capable of stimulating the whole body of an individual. It tends to free energy from brain and relaxes the muscles and makes one a lively person. This person is more aware of all around him.

There are several interesting brain exercises that you can opt for in order to sharpen your logical skill. This will also help you to retrieve information from different areas of life.

- Here are some of the ways:

a)	Logical argument

Indulging in a logical argument would definitely enhance your brain power and sharpen your reasoning skills. It contains one or more statements that are later followed by conclusions. So, next time you read a newspaper or a magazine, make sure that you determine the arguments that logically follow the premises and the arguments that do not.
For any of the invalid arguments, try to provide missing premises that may make their look valid. Also try to look for any hidden assumptions in the article you are reading.

b)	New activities

Try to indulge in new activities as often as possible. You can also take up your favorite activities. Try cooking, painting, gardening etc. Don’t perform these activities in the usual way. In fact, try to be creative come up with new ideas.

c)	Find solutions

If you are surrounded with problems, try to segregate then in to smaller problems and then solve them.

d)	Object functions

All you have to do is to take a simple object everyday and write down as many benefits of the object as you can.

e)	Give Suggestions

Don’t be afraid of giving suggestion when required when you start giving out these suggestions, you tend to think and this will enhance your brain power.

We’ve heard the stories about exceptional human beings who are able to recite huge volumes of data or draw intricate cityscapes after just a 5 minute helicopter ride.

But dare you imagine if you had the exact same powers and ability? Is it really possible to improve my memory that much? Wouldn’t it be just incredible? Below are are 3 techniques that you can use to improve your photographic memory ability. But before we get started, please remember that photographic memory requires practice and technique. So if you can’t do it after the first try, do not quit. Give yourself some time to get used to it.

The ‘link’ system is usually the first aid used with all sorts of memory work. This is particularly useful for memorizing lists of data or numbers. So, lets say if you have a long shopping list to remember, try to get all the words and try to make it into mental scenario out of it. Example, if you are given a list of things – pink, shirt, cat, slippers, ironing and flowers, make a picture out of this by thinking of CAT wearing a SHIRT printed with FLOWERS and so on. When you reach the last item, try to link it to the first. This short mental film will help you to remember effectively and quickly.

The second method used is the peg system. This system is effective in memorizing images in a sequence. This number-shape system will help you to remember the sequences of images accurately. For example, you are given pictures of a dog, cat, mouse, elephant, antelope and giraffe arranged in this sequence. To use the peg system, simply attach a number to each picture Example 1 dog, 2 cats, 3 mice, 4 elephant etc. At the same time, use your mental scenario to make the peg system work. Remember to link the animals to each other, by using the same technique as mentioned in the link system.

The last technique would involve the use of the ever-famous mind mapping. Back in the school days, the mind mapping technique is a very popular and highly encouraged technique. However, over time, people choose to chuck this technique away simply because they are finding it harder to use. Well, this of course depends on the kind of area you are planning to use the mind mapping technique for. To use the mind mapping technique effectively, simply take the key central image of the concept and branch out information that is related. It might get messier as you go by, but it is an excellent tool for organizing a busy timetable or storing large quantities of information.

Developing photographic memory is not too hard to master, just use these methods outlined above (and practice them consistently!) and you will be shocked by your huge improvement in your memory work.
